One Person is dead after being struck by a tractor trailer on the 404
yesterday headed southbound.
The incident happened in east Gwillembury shortly before 1 PM and
when officials arrived the pedestrian was pronounced dead.
The incident closed the stretch of highway from Woodbine avenue all
the way to queensville side road as Aurora OPP investigated.

Air Canada has begun canceling flights to prepare for a potential
strike by the flight attendants.
Air Canada and the Union that represents the flight attendance have
been going back and forth and are at an impasse when it comes to a
new contract.
The union issued a 72-hour strike notice last night which means that
the flight attendance can legally strike as of Saturday.
If your flight is canceled you will be notified by Air Canada and issued
a full refund.
