Over the weekend in Keswick there was a boat fire at the pioneer gas station at the Queensway south where boats can fuel up.

Georgina fire and rescue received several calls about the situation around 245 in the afternoon on July 20th and sent 2 fire trucks and the marine unit to put out the blaze.

York region police would also assist in the operation closing several roads.

According to officials the boat sustained serious damage, but no one was hurt in the fire.

South Simcoe Police arrested a mother and a father in the Innsfill area after trying to cover up a roll over collision involving their two children.

The incident happened on July 18th in the area of side road 20 and Gilford.

When police arrived on scene a man was standing by the rolled over vehicle claiming that he was the driver.

After speaking with witnesses it was determined that the man was not involved in the crash but arrived at the scene later.

The couple are now facing several charges for trying to cover up the incident.

The male is facing public mischief charges

While the wife faces 3 charges including failure to comply with demand.

The children ages 10 and 1 were not injured in the roll over.

In sports.. Ontario Superior Court Justice Maria Cortica is set to deliever her ruling tomorrow in the high profile sexual assault case involving 5 former hockey players.

Michael Mcloud, Carter Hart, Alex Formonton Cal Foote and Dillion Dube are all facing one count of sexual assault relating to an aledged incident at a london hotel back in 2018. Michael Mcloud is also facing an additional charge.

2 separate sets or jury members were dismissed which means the ruling now falls with the judge.

All 5 men have pleaded not guilty
