Georgina’s next Curbside Giveaway Day will take place next Saturday on July 25, giving residents a chance to clear out unwanted household items. Free items can be placed at the curb between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. for neighbours to take. Any unclaimed items must be removed by 5 p.m., and items may only be placed at the curb on designated giveaway dates.

A youth riding an e-bike was taken to hospital with minor injuries after a collision with a vehicle on Innisfil Beach Road Wednesday afternoon. South Simcoe Police say the crash happened when a vehicle was turning into a busy parking lot and the e-bike collided with it. A 46-year-old Innisfil woman has been charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.

York Regional Police is offering free child car seat inspection clinics to help ensure young passengers are travelling safely. Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will inspect car seats by appointment, with sessions lasting about one hour per seat. A refundable $25 deposit is required to book, and unclaimed deposits will be donated to a York Regional Police charity.
