The Georgina Senior Games are returning this fall, bringing residents 55 and older together for fun, fitness and friendly competition. The games run from September 9th to October 23rd, with a variety of events for both returning participants and those trying something new. Registration is now open at georgina.ca/SeniorGames.

Newmarket property owners now have 24-hour online access to their property tax information through the Town’s new Property Tax Portal. The portal allows residents to check balances, print tax statements and receipts, and pay their property tax bills securely through their bank. The Town says the service is part of its digital transformation efforts, with paperless e-billing planned for 2027.

Aurora’s Multicultural Festival returns September 19th, celebrating cultures from around the world with music, dance and food. The free event will feature cultural performances and food samples at Aurora Town Park from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by more performances at Aurora Town Square from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Organizers say this year’s festival will also include a new Chinese traditional arts exhibit called Harmony in Ink.
